WA:The cost was worth it, say protesters

PERTH, Jan 16 AAP - One of the anti-whaling protesters recovered from a Japanese ship
by an Australian customs vessel says he reckons taxpayers can bear the cost of their
stunt.

When Glen Pendlebury, Simon Peterffy and Geoffrey Tuxworth arrived back in Albany on
Monday after illegally boarding the Shonan Maru II, Peterffy was whisked off by police
for not paying fines totalling around $5000.
