NSW: Police raiding Chinatown hotel with anti-fraud squad

SYDNEY, Feb 26 AAP - A man and a woman have been arrested and a large quantity of documents
seized during a raid in Sydney's CBD tonight by police investigating a multi-million dollar
identification fraud syndicate.

Police said the Star Hotel in inner-Sydney Chinatown was raided just after 5pm when
about 50 people were on the premises.

In addition to the two arrested, three people were tonight in the custody of the Department
of Immigration and two others were helping immigration officials with their inquiries.
